We have a new Changing Spaces facility which is located on the ground floor near screen 2 & 3. It is accessible using a RADAR key; please ask a member of staff if you would like to use it. It has the following features:
· A height-adjustable, adult-sized changing couch
· A ceiling track hoist system. This is a Multicare GH1 hoist with a weight limit of up to 200kg, using a loop sling; please note we do not provide a sling.
· Adequate space in the changing area for a wheelchair user and up to two assistants
· A toilet with space either side for assistants and drop-down handrails at the side
· A privacy screen
· A height adjustable basin for handwashing with pump soap.
· Wide tear-off paper roll to cover the bench
· A large waste bin for disposable pads
· A non-slip floor
The changing couch has a shower attachment and drain within the couch itself; please note the shower cannot be used without the couch as there is no drain in the floor.
